This Privacy Policy explains how Molly AVI Recordings LLC (“ReelSpicy”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

  • Account data: email address, username, hashed password, and — if you sign in with Google — your Google account ID, name, and profile picture.
  • Content: messages you send to AI characters, preferences, and settings you configure in your profile.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, device type, browser, and IP address.
  • Communications: emails we send you and your interactions with them (opens, clicks, unsubscribes).

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including generating AI character responses.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To send transactional emails (verification, account notices) and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of at any time.
  • To analyze usage and improve features, performance, and safety.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data under the following bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), consent (marketing emails, optional cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service: Amazon Web Services (hosting, US East region), Mailgun (transactional email), Google (OAuth sign-in), and AI model providers used to generate character responses.
  • Legal and safety: authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, property, and user safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. To exercise any right, email contact@reelspicy.com. 7. Email and Unsubscribe

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also opt out of non-essential emails in your profile settings. Transactional emails (security, billing, account) may still be sent as long as your account is active.

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encrypted storage, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

10. International Transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States (AWS us-east-1). If you access it from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
